 Flowering plant are small trees that have many colourful petals

THE USEFULNESS OF FLOWERS IN THE ENVIRONMENT

1. Decoration of houses n or offices.
2. Beautification of environment
3. Gift for loved ones
4. Hair beautification
5. Marking occasion like marriage, Christmas and birthday.

 DIFFERENT COLOURS OF FLOWERS

• Red
• Yellow
• Purple
• White
• Blue
• pink or multicolor

NAMES DIFFERENT FLOWERS WITH THEIR COLOURS

1. Hibiscus – red, yellow and green.
2. Rose – green and brown.
3. Sun flower – yellow and black
4. Lotus – pink and green
5. Camellia – pink  and green
6. Orchid – white brown and pink

INSTRUCTIONAL PROCEDURE

• The Teacher revises the previous lessons (FLOWERING PLANTS)
• The Teacher introduces the topic (DESIGNING AND COLOURING FLOWERING PLANTS).
• Teacher starts by writing different flowers with their colours.
• Teacher plucks a flower, and ask pupils to draw and colour diagram of a flower on the board.
• Teacher plucks a flower and asks pupils to draw it inside their drawing books.
• Teacher guides pupils to colour the flowers with their natural colours.
