CONTENT OF THE TOPIC

Definition of Building

A building is a structure that has a roof and walls and stands more or less permanently in one place.

TYPES OF BUILDING

  1. Mud houses: it can be mud house with thatched roof or iron roofing sheet
  2. Wooden houses: built with timber
  3. Huts: they are small and can be built from thatch or bamboo.
  4. Duplexes: they are modern house with room and two floors, built with cement and corrugated iron roofing sheets.
  5. Flats: they are set of rooms usually on the floor of a building with two or more floors. It may be one, two or more bedroom flat.
  6. Penthouse: it is an apartment located on the top floors of a building.
  7. Skyscrapers: a building with many stories
  8. Bungalows: a small house with single story.
