MEANING OF MODELLING

Modellings are object that are shaped or formed from clay or cement e.g. pot, local lamp, plate, flower vase, cup.

Clay is the heavy or thick soil, which becomes harder when it is dried or baked.

METHODS OF CLAY PREPARATION

1. wet method

INSTRUCTIONAL PROCEDURE

• The Teacher revises the previous lessons (SECOND TERM CULTURAL AND CREATIVE ART SCHEME OF WORK FOR PRIMARY THREE (3)).
• The Teacher introduces the topic (MODELLING).
• Teachers teaches by explaining modelling.
• Teacher explain further about clay
• Teacher shows Diagrams of modeling objects and write them on the board.
• Teacher mention methods of clay preparation.
