Comprehension Passage
There was everything to make life comfortable and enjoyable in Mr and Mrs Kempe’s home but, Mrs. Kempe never enjoyed this opportunity. She could not sleep at night, neither was she eager for the day to break. Wheat bothered her day and night was her inability to bear children. And this was always the topic of gossip among other women in the town. Mrs. Kempe tried all she could to get a child but all her efforts proved abortive.
