WEEK 1: GOD THE CREATOR- WHO IS GOD? (John 24 – 26)

  • God is Omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscience.

WEEK 2: OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD AND MAN (Gen 1:1-2)

  • Fear and respect God
  • Fear and respect man

  • state why we should respect God and our parents

WEEK 3:  WHY God CREATED THINGS (Gen 1: 28)

LESSON OBJECTIVES:

Pupils should be able to:

  • state reasons for God to create  things:
  • for his glory and honour
  • That we might serve and worship him.

A chart showing a list of things god created from day one to six.

WEEK 4: WHY God CREATED HUMAN BEING

.LESSON OBJECTIVES:

Pupils should be able to state:

  • State why God created man to serve and worship him.
  • Explain the role of man in God’s creation (for reproduction and to take care of everything God has created).

A Picture showing a new baby with his/her parents.

WEEK 5:  THING THAT GOD CREATED

  • Light
  • Sun
  • Moon
  • Man
  • Plant
  • Animal, Etc

    LESSON OBJECTIVES:

Pupils should be able to:

  • List  things created by God

  • Picture of the environment

WEEK 6: THING MADE BY MAN

    LESSON OBJECTIVES:

Pupils should be able to:

  • List things created by man e.g. toys, cars, table, book, chair, television etc.

TEACHING/LEARNING RESOURCES/AIDS:

  • Clay to mould object
  • Chart showing car, house, TV, Computer etc.

WEEK 7:  GOD THE HELPER

    LESSON OBJECTIVES:

Pupils should be able to:

  • State the Various way through which God help us e.g. Life (Gen 2:7), food (john 6: 10 – 13), Water (exodus 17: 6).
  • List the reason why God created us- we are able to help ourselves, he is our creator.

TEACHING/LEARNING RESOURCES/AIDS:

  • Chart/picture showing people in the church

WEEK 8:  GOD HELPS THE ISREALITE AND THEIR RESPONSE. Exodus 14: 15: 1 – 15

    LESSON OBJECTIVES:

Pupils should be able to:

  • Explain how God helped the Israelites to cross the red sea
  • Narrate how the Israelite expressed their gratitude to God with Joy and songs

  • Bible pictures

WEEK 9: REVISION OF THE TERM’S WORK

   LESSON OBJECTIVES:

Pupils should be able to:

  • Remember all that the teacher had taught for the term.
