WEEK 1: CONCEPT OF SECURITY

WEEK 2: CONCEPT OF SECURITY
LESSON OBJECTIVES:
Pupils should be able to:
- State security facts e.g. do not take anything from a stranger, do not follow a stranger etc.

- Charts on which security facts for children are listed.
WEEK 3: SOURCES OF INSECURITY
LESSON OBJECTIVES:
Pupils should be able to:
- Identify sources of insecurity.

WEEK 4: SECURITY ALERT SIGNS

Pupils should be able to state:
- Identify Security alert signs

WEEK 5: SECURITY COLOURS
LESSON OBJECTIVES:
Pupils should be able to:
- People should be able to identify security colours e.g
- Red – Severe Risk
- Yellow – elevated
- Blue – Guarded Risk
- Green – low risk
- Orange – High risk

WEEK 6: SECURITY GADGET
LESSON OBJECTIVES:
Pupils should be able to:
- List security Gadget e.g. camera, Microphone etc.

WEEK 7: HOME SECURITY
LESSON OBJECTIVES:
Pupils should be able to:
- Mention security tips e.g. locking the door, flood light, detector, etc.
TEACHING/LEARNING RESOURCES/AIDS:
- Home security devices.
WEEK 8: OFFICE SECURITY
LESSON OBJECTIVES:
Pupils should be able to:
- State security measures to be taken in Offices e.g. locking doors, putting all electrical appliances off etc.
TEACHING/LEARNING RESOURCES/AIDS:
Charts showing security inscription in the offices e.g. SWITCH OFF ALL ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES.
WEEK 9: PERSONAL SECURITY
LESSON OBJECTIVES:
Pupils should be able to:
- Define personal security.
- List components of personal security at home, school on the road etc.
