The Story of the Call of Abraham
God told Abraham to leave the land of Haran to the land he would show him at age seventy five years old. God promised to make him great and bless those who blessed him and curse whoever cursed him. He obeyed and took Sarah his wife and lot his nephew and went to Shechem. There God promised to give Abraham the land of Canaan to his descendants. There he build an altar to the lord.
The Purpose Of God’s Call
The following are some of the purposes God calls us:
- To serve him
- To obey him
- To be free
- To repentance
The right response to God’s call
- Obedience to is word.
- Have courage
- We should not be afraid
- Listen attentively
Benefits of obedience to God’s call

- Guidance from God
