WEEK 2: REASONS FOR TAKING CARE OF COMPUTER

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVE: Pupils should be able to:

1. Demonstrate ways of taking good care of computers.
2. Mention ways of taking care of computer.

WEEK 3: THE COMPUTER KEYBOARD   I

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVE: Pupils should be able to:

1. Identify sections of the keyboard.
2. Recognize the different sections of the keyboard.

WEEK 4: THE COMPUTER KEYBOARD   SECTION II

• Practices entering data with keyboard.

1. Use the keyboard to enter data into the system.
2. Identify special character keys.

WEEK 7: APPLICATIONS OF COMPUTER KEYBOARD II

• Using backspace
• Using arrow keys

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVE: Pupils should be able to:

1. Use backspace key to delete character.
2. Use arrow key to move cursor up, down, left, and right between documents.

WEEK 8: APPLICATIONS OF COMPUTER KEYBOARD III

Sub –Topics:

• Using return
• Using Cap lock keys

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVE: Pupils should be able to:

1. Use the return key to move the cursor to the next line.
2. Use Caps lock key to cause the character a – z to be written in capital letter A – Z.
