  5. Writing: Responding to a formal invitation
  6. Dictation: Selected sentences from the passage
    Read.

  1. Speech work: Oral composition talking about self and family.
  2. Structure: Word bank and sentences building.
  3. Reading: Teaching of new words – meanings and Comprehension
  4. Grammar: Further practice on reading dialogue Conversation on telephone as opposed to letters
  5. Writing: Formal invitation as opposed to letters
  6. Dictation: Selected words or sentences from the
    Passage read.

                                        WEEK 3

  2. Structure: Making and reporting requests [Sentence building]
  3. Reading: Teaching of new words – meaning and Comprehension
  4. Grammar: Passage about self or other members Of the family, stressing the roles of individual Members of the family
  5. Writing: Writing an informal letter
  6. Dictation: Selected sentences/words from the
    Passage read.

                            WEEK 4

  1. Speech work: Debate discussion on simple and Familiar topics e.g. the father is more important Than the mother in a family (Propose or oppose)
  2. Structure: Using link words such as although because but, as comprehension
  3. Reading:  Teaching of new words – meaning comprehension
  4. Grammar: Construction with verb – phrase Complement or with noun clause
  5. Writing: Acknowledging receipt of letters of Congratulations and sympathy
