                      BOOTING

Booting is the process starting or restarting a computer system.

1. Input Machines
2. Output machines
3. Central processing Unit (Cpu)
4. Backing storage machines

Types of Booting

There are two types of booting;

1. Cold booting
2. Warm Booting

Cold booting: it is the process of starting a computer system by pressing the ON buttons.

Warm booting: it is the process of restarting the computer system pressing the ON buttons.

THE STEPS FOR BOOTING A COMPUTER

1. Connect the computer system unit into the power source
2. Press the power button of the system unit
3. Press the power button of the monitor
4. Wait a while, the computer will boot to the windows desktop.
