MY SHOPPING LIST FOR NEXT WEEK
Teacher’s Activities
Activity one (1): Draw out sentences from the pupils about some articles they would buy next week.
Activity two (2): Tell them the meaning of shopping and tell them about some things you will like to buy next week.
Activity three (3): To guide the pupils in writing a detailed composition about the topic, write and explain the following guidelines on the board.
Activity four (4): Look at, interpret, and explain the example.
GUIDELINES
Paragraph one (1): Write briefly about your expectation for next week and the day or days you would go out for shopping.
Paragraph two (2): Write about your shopping list and how much you would spend on each item on your shopping list.
Paragraph three (3): write about how important some items or all items on your shopping list are.
COMPOSITION: MY SHOPPING LIST FOR NEXT WEEK
I look forward to a great time next week. I have planned to go shopping next week Saturday. My choice of Saturday is because I would be in school from Monday to Friday and would possibly not have enough time after school during week days.
I have drawn up my shopping list for next week as follows:
A pair of socks ————————————— 200
A dozen of sachet milo ———————————300
Ingredient for soup —————————————350
3 bar soap ———————————————— 150
Total ——————————————————1000
I wash my uniform every Sunday, so I must buy the bars of soap if would not go to school dirty on Monday. I also need to buy ingredients for soup that mother would prepare on Saturday evening. Mr. Victor would also not be happy with me If I failed to appear neatly at school on Monday with my pair of socks on. I pray to God to help me.

Pupil’s Activity two (2): Write with care and in details a composition about the bird you like.
