They bring international experts from Hollywood to Nigeria. to provide African creatives with a comprehensive training for working in the global creative industry.

Alumni From Del York Creative Academy

Alumni of Del York Creative Academy have organized a series of high impact creative filmmaking workshops bringing in instructors from Hollywood USA since 2010. They have trained over 1200 (One thousand, two hundred) Young Africans in the art and science of film making, media communications, and creative content distribution etc. their alumni have gone on to contribute their quota to shaping the foundation of the African Creative Industry as directors, actors, producers, media entrepreneurs and other important roles.

Some of their Alumni are:


A 2011 alumni of Del-York Creative Academy, has produced and directed the documentary film “Unbroken”: The John Sumonu Story, which was nominated for best documentary at the 2014 Abuja International Film Festival.


Ranked second in Charles Novia’s 2013 rankings of Nollywood actresses, Tamara Eteimo, also known as Tamara Jones, studied acting at Del- York Creative Academy in 2011.


He is best known for his roles in the TV Series Gidi Up and An African City. He has also featured in Movies, If Tomorrow Comes and Road to Yesterday.


Some of his notable works include Burna Boy’s Like to Party (2012), and D’Prince’s Goody Bag. In2013 he was nominated in eight different categories at the Nigeria Music Video Awards.


His debut feature film, A Mile From Home won awards at both the 2014 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards and 10th Africa Movie Academy Awards.


One of her major jobs was producing the movie premiere of Beast of No Nation starring Idris Elba. She’s also the producer and director of commercially successful Heritage Bank TV commercials.


A 2011 filmmaking alumni of Del-York Creative Academy, has gone on to produce and direct memorable projects for television and film.


A passionate writer, with appetite for more, she personally funded her training to study Broadcast Journalism at Del York Creative Academy in 2011.


OlumideAyeni and Wale Davies popularly known as Show Dem Camp. Graduating form Del-York Creative Academy in 2010 where they studied Directing for film, Olumide and Wale are putting that valuable experience into producing and directing their emerging professional music career.


A 2010 ‘Directing-For-Film’ graduate of Del-York Creative Academy, he is currently the C.E.O of studio84 and a series producer of Lites Communications. Considered a fresh talent with vision, his movie “The Awakening”- a suspense thriller- was nominated in the best film category at the 2013 Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards.

This academy was established by Linus Idahosa.
