TEACHER’S ACTIVITIES:
- Teacher leads pupils to explain the meaning of pollution.
She defines pollution as the process of making air, water, soil, etc. dirty and not suitable for people to use.
- Teacher leads pupils to mention the types of pollution e.g.
- Air pollution
- Chemical pollution
- Land pollution
- Water pollution
- Air pollution
- Teacher guides pupils to mention the effects of pollution e.g. environmental degradation, human health, global warming, etc.
- She displays pictures of types and sources of pollution.

WEEK 2 – 3: NOISE POLLUTION
TEACHER’S ACTIVITIES:
- Teacher leads pupils to explain Noise pollution as – unwanted sound that is generally considered harmful. It annoys, distracts or even harms people.
- Teacher leads pupils on the meaning of
Air pollution. It occurs when gases dust particles, fumes (smoke) or odours are introduce into the atmosphere in a way that makes it harmful to humans, animals and plants.
- She mentions some sources of air pollution – smoke, dust, noise.
- She displays pictures of air pollution and noise pollution.

- Teacher displays pictures of first aid box and a person attending to an injured person
- She recalls the meaning of first Aid.
- She leads pupils to explain who a first Aiders are:
First Aider – A person who attending to an injured or sick person e.g. Parent, brother, sister, school nurse, any medical officers.
- She guides pupils to mention duties of first aider e.g.
- To administer appropriate first aid treatment to victim.
- To respond to any emergency.
