This is to inform all Principal, Proprietor, Proprietress, Teachers and Students that the Director of Lagos State Government Ministry of Education Examinations Board has release the Practical BECE Guideline for PVS 2022 Academic Session.

GUIDELINE/ENTRY FOR PRACTICALS IN PRE-VOCATIONAL STUDIES (PVS (AGRICULTURAL SCIENCE AND HOME ECONOMICS)
1. I am directed to inform you that in line with Basic Education policy, it is mandatory for every candidate taking part in Pre-vocational students at the Junior Secondary Schools (JSS) to take part in the practical aspect of the subject.
2. Schools presenting candidate(s) for this subject will make the students to prepare materials indicated in each theme/section below.
3. All candidate(s) taking part in this Practical aspect will be made to attempt all items in each of the three sections listed below.
SECTION A: AGRICULTURAL SCIENCE
MATERIALS/SPECIMEN
A. Hoff
B. Animal hides and Skin
C. Hibiscus plant (Leaf/flower)
D. Guinea grass
E. Wood/small plank
F. Table water
G. Round worm /Diagram
H. Coconut seed
I. Garden Egg
J. Sample of sales invoice.
SECTION B: HOME ECONOMICS
CLOTHING AND TEXTILES
1. A. Binding
B. Use of lace
C. Facing
D. Hemming
E. Shell edging
SECTION C: HOME MANAGEMENT
2. Prepare Home-made cleaning abrasive vim using the following materials.
- Egg shells
- Detergent
- Broken china wares (if available)
Schools are requested to submit to the Board the list of candidates (score sheet) writing the subject using the format below from Monday 14th March to Thursday 14th April, 2022.
NOTE:- (i) The two practical works in Home Economics are compulsory.
(ii) Group work is allowed and a group should not be more than 20 students
in group.
(iii) Candidates can be made to improvise where applicable.
(iv) Schools that failed to submit Practical list as stated below on or before
the stipulated date will not be assigned Assessor.
