Colours in our Environment
Colours are used to beautify our homes, schools and offices.
Types of colours
- Primary colours: they are of three colours, these are Red, Blue and Yellow. These colurs are used to form all other colours.
- Secondary colours: it is the combination of two primary colours. i.e
- Red + yellow = Orange.
- Blue + red = Purple.
- Blue + yellow = Green.
- Tertiary colours: thse consist of a primary colours and secondary colours. i.e yellow + Green = Yellowish Green.

- Chemical
Uses of Colours
- They are used to beautify our society.
- To distinguish objects like school uniform, money, car, shoe, house.
- It is used in business
- It is used in fashion
- It is used in art design
- It is used in traffic light to control the road.
- It is used to make a statement
- It is used to alert us.
