My favourite hobby is reading. Though  I enjoy doing some other things at leisure but reading to me is the best of them I  enjoy ready magazines, newspapers, story books and  any kind of material that I find interesting, informative and refreshing.

I started having interest in reading when I was a little boy. My dad is a reader, he reads anything that comes his way. I listen to him whenever he talks. He speaks good English and he is ever current. I told him one day that I would like him and he told me that I can achieve that if I can devote some of my time reading. The truth is that since then my life has never remained the same.  I started with story books and newspapers. Now I read just about anything that is available.

Reading makes me aware of what is going on around me. It enables me to learn about things that I would otherwise not know. I read about people, science and nature, insects, human inventions and the world in general. Books provide readers with facts and information and you do not have to learn the hard way. Reading is Profitable and I cannot just stop reading!

Pupil’s Activity one (1): Read the example and pay attention.

Pupil’s Activity two (2): Write a detailed composition about your hobby. Use the guidelines given.
