Teacher’s Activities
Activity one (1): Draw out sentences from the pupils about who they will like to be.
Activity two (2): To guide the pupils in writing a detailed composition about the topic, write and explain the following guidelines on the board.
Activity three (3): Look at, interpret, and explain the example.
GUIDELINES
Paragraph one (1): Write About your mother’s name, her age, looks and job or occupation.
Paragraph two (2): Write about her behaviour and way of life. Also write about her attitude towards her job/occupation.
Paragraph three (3): Write about her attitude towards God and people, her hobby and what you think of her.
COMPOSITION: My Mother
My mother’s name is mrs Samson Lydia. She is the best mother anyone could have. We live together in our four – bedroom apartment in Festac; a beautiful town in Lagos State. She is Fifty one years old and look very beautiful and even younger than her age. She is a trader. She works very hard to make enough profit from her clothes business.
My mother is very kind hearted and honest woman. Fear of God, hard work and truthfulness is her watchword. She hates cheaters and does not cheat her customers. She takes her business seriously and works hard all the times. She make good profit.
My mother is a religious woman who works for God. She is the most senior usher in our church, the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Amuwo -Odofin.
She takes good care of her family and everybody that comes across. She always helps the poor and the needy. I am very proud of her and count myself lucky for having such a mother. She enjoys singing and reading at her leisure. She guides us to grow in the way of the lord.

Pupil’s Activity two (2): Write with care and in details a composition about your mother.
