A SURPRISE LETTER TO MY FRIEND (SHORT LETTER)
This is a short surprise letter to my dear friend Musa, to inform him about the recent double promotion I was given due to my performance in the last promotional Examination in- school and to encourage him to be serious with his studies.
To write this letter. The address of the writer will be at the top right-hand corner before the salutation such as Dear Marry, Musa, Betha etc.
PARAGRAPH CONSTRUCTION
In the first paragraph you greet your friend, ask about his studies, health, school and family. Then you tell him or her about the purpose of writing.
The next paragraph is the body of the letter. Give the full details of what happened and how it happened like what you did before getting the result and the consequences of all acts.
Paragraph 3 should be conclusion and encouraging your friend to get more serious with his/her studies.
End the letter with a compliment and your name such as yours sincerely, your friend and so on. Then you name should be on the next line. – Subscription.

My Dearest friend, how are you doing? How about your Studies? What about your family? I am sure with God you are all fine. I just want to tell you about a surprising event that
Could you believe that I was given double promotion following my outstanding performance in the last promotion Examination? All thanks to my uncle who taught and prepared me like never before. I never enjoyed the ceaseless teachings and assignment he game me but when I got the result, I was more than happy.
Friend, I am writing to let you know that you can achieve the same. Just be serious with your studies and before long you would achieve same. My regards to Timothy, chukwu and Adam. Tell them I miss them all.
