School Reopens After Sallah Break- August 4, 2020

At the virtual meeting held yesterday (Monday) with the Minister of Education, the commissioners of education from all states in Nigeria, chief executives of the examination bodies, the proprietors of private schools, Nigerian Union of Teachers, (NUT) in attendance.

Mr. Ben Goong, the spoke man for the federal ministry of education said secondary school students (JSS 3 and SS 3) about to write their final exams are to resume immediately after the Sallah Break (August 4). This is to ensure the student go through the final revision class before the commencement of their examination.  

Waec will commence its examination on the 17th of August 2020, While other chief executives of examination bodies (NECO, NABTEB, and NBAIS) will meet today with the Federal Ministry of Education to fix their examination dates.
