WEEK 1: REVISION OF FIRST TERMS EXAMINATION QUESTIONS

WEEK 2: THE BIRTH OF JESUS

Angelic Visitation to Mary (Luke 1:1-26 – 38, Luke. 2: 1- 7; matt 2: 1 -16; john 3: 16)

Pupils should be able to:

  • Narrate the visit of angel Gabriel to Mary

WEEK 3:  VISITATION OF THE SHEPHERD (Luke 2: 9 – 20)

  • The three wise men(matt 2: 1 -9)

LESSON OBJECTIVES:

Pupils should be able to

  • Narrate the visit of the wise men to Jesus
  • Mention gifts given to Jesus – Gold, frankincense and  myrrh

TEACHING/LEARNING RESOURCES/AIDS:

  • Pictures of a mother and her baby.
  • Christmas Carols

WEEK 4: THE PROTECTION OF GOD

.LESSON OBJECTIVES:

Pupils should be able to:

  • Define protection
  • State how God can protect us from danger
  • State how parents protect their children

TEACHING/LEARNING RESOURCES/AIDS:

  • Chart showing security officer’s e.g. Police, Army etc.

WEEK 5:  THE LIFE OF JESUS

  • Jesus calls little children to come to him (matt 19: 13 – 15)
  • Jesus calls his disciples friends (john 15: 13 – 15)

    LESSON OBJECTIVES:

Pupils should be able to:

  • State reasons for the  calling of little children by Jesus
  • Gives reasons for which Jesus called his disciple friends

TEACHING/LEARNING RESOURCES/AIDS:

  • Holy Bible

WEEK 6: HOW TO BECOME JESUS FRIEND.

  • Obey him
  • Love him
  • Do good to others

    LESSON OBJECTIVES:

Pupils should be able to:

  • List some things to do to become Jesus friend.

TEACHING/LEARNING RESOURCES/AIDS:

  • The holy bible

WEEK 7: FEEDING OF 5, 000 PEOPLE

    LESSON OBJECTIVES:

Pupils should be able to:

  • Explain how Jesus feed 5, 000 people with 5 loaves of bread and 2 small fish
  • State how God still provide for us today.

TEACHING/LEARNING RESOURCES/AIDS:

  • Pictures of people sitting in group to eat

WEEK 8: THE DEATH AND THE RESURRECTION OF JESUS. (Matt 27: 27 – 50; 28:1 – 8)

    LESSON OBJECTIVES:

Pupils should be able to:

  • Narrate the story of the death and resurrection of Jesus.
  • at least two results of not obeying government rules and Regulations.
  • Narrate how the Israelite expressed their gratitude to God with Joy and songs

TEACHING/LEARNING RESOURCES/AIDS:

  • Bible pictures of the crucifixion of Jesus.

WEEK 9: IMPORTANCE OF THE DEATH AND RESURRECTION JESUS

   LESSON OBJECTIVES:

Pupils should be able to:

  • State the importance of the death and resurrection of Jesus.
  • Give reasons for the celebration of Easter by Christians.
