USES OF COMPUTER CABLES

The following are the uses of computer cables

1. Power cable:
2. It is the cable that is supply power to the monitor.
3. It is the cable that is supply power to the system unit.
4. It is the cable that is supply power to the printer.
5. Usb cable:
6. It is used to transfer data from one device to another.
7. It is used to connect external devices like keyboard, mouse to the computer.
8. Network or Ethernet cable:
9. It is used to connect parts of the computer and other network devices within a local area network like router, personal computer.
10. It is used to form different network topologies.
11. VGA cable
12. Used to connect monitor to television.
13. Used to connect monitor to the system unit.
14. Fire wire cable: it is used to connect devices like printer, scanner to the computer.
15. Sata cable: it is used to connect internal hard drives to a computer motherboard.
16. Parallel cable or printer cable: they are used to connect printer to the computer system.
17. Ide cable: they are used to connect different storage devices such as hard disk to the computer.
