WHY I LIKE SCIENCE

                                               Teacher’s Activities

Activity one (1): Draw out sentences from the pupils about their favourite subjects and make them tell you why they have chosen the mentioned subjects as their favourite.

Activity two (2): Tell them your favourite subject and also the subject you like most between Mathematics, English and Science.

Activity three (3): To guide the pupils in writing a detailed composition about the topic, write and explain the following guidelines on the board.

Activity four (4): Look at, interpret, and explain the example.

Paragraph one (1): pick on of mathematics, English and science and write briefly about what the subject is all about.

Paragraph two (2) and 3:  Write about why you like the subject you have chosen among Mathematics, English and Science.

COMPOSITION: WHY I LIKE SCIENCE

  I like many subjects but I like science the most. Science to me is the best subject. It is the study of nature and the world around us. Science studies living and non-living things. It gives us a clearer understanding of the world around us.               

  Science is good. Its study has helped me to develop sound mind and to reason well. It broadens my understanding of such things as the Solar system, the planets, Oceans, Mountains, Matter and the atmosphere. Science teaches me and make clearer, those things that I used to see as mysteries and so without explanation.

   I also like science because the application of its knowledge makes life easier for us. Scientific knowledge is used in areas like Engineering, Medicine, Mathematics, etc. through Engineering, Vehicles and machines which we use today are produced.  Medicine helps in improving remedy for diseases that appears incurable. One can go on and on to talk about how useful the knowledge of science is. I like Science so much and I am working hard towards becoming a scientist in future.
